Three-time Australian Open runner-up Daniil Medvedev has pleaded with officials to bring forward the start time of night matches at the season-opening grand slam after featuring in two notorious late finishes himself.

Player welfare is a key concern after a spate of matches have concluded in the wee hours just before dawn over the years at the Australian Open.
