STARS at the Scottish Bafta awards showed their support for Palestine at a ceremony on Sunday night.
The awards honouring the excellence and talent across Scotland’s screen sector took place in Glasgow on Sunday evening.
David Tennant was among the winners for his performance in There She Goes while the Highland horror film Out of Darkness scooped three awards, including for best feature film.
Among those to show their support for Palestine was actor Khalid Abdalla, who had a message on his hand which said, “end the genocide” (below).
Elsewhere, actor Adura Onashile (below) was pictured dressed in the colours of the Palestinian flag while walking the red carpet.
A number of other stars also attended the ceremony, including Richard Gadd (below) – creator of the worldwide Netflix hit Baby Reindeer.
Outlander’s Richard Rankin was also among those to appear while Shirley Henderson (below), known for her roles in Trainspotting and the Harry Potter series, also appeared.
On the night, Scottish comedian Ashley Storrie (above) paid tribute to her late mother Janey Godley in her speeches.
She won the Bafta alongside Matilda Curtis for their BBC Scotland comedy show Dinosaur while Storrie also picked up the Audience Award.
Godley died this month at the age of 63 following a long battle with ovarian cancer.
