Pyramids are often reinterpreted as immersive sculptures by French architect-turned-artist Cyril Lancelin.
Standing over 13m tall, the Bubbly Green Pyramid adorned with huge bows and twinkling lights serves as a magical Christmas tree at Central Embassy's front entrance.
The Lyon-based artist uses inflatables to create easy-to-move installations, such as the giant pink Knot inflatable sculpture created in 2017 and exhibited in Guangzhou, China.
Lancelin's latest works will be on display until Jan 8, as a part of Central Embassy's "Let's Celebrate 2023: Floating Happiness" campaign.
Besides Southeast Asia's largest inflatable Christmas tree, a 6m-tall bubbly Santa welcomes visitors to the shopping complex. Its Christmas Dreamscape also features the Starry Palace, a pink and silver metallic sculpture.
In the main hall, another oversized Santa Claus and friends seemingly float as the Glory In The Air installation. More inflatable art is exhibited on Level 6, where the Open House has been transformed into the Land Of The Clouds centred by the Candy Dream Tower.
From BTS Ploenchit Station, a walkway leads to the Sky Passage illuminated by mirror balls and Central Embassy's Level 1.
From Central Chidlom, the Dreamland Corridor with lights, colours and sounds takes visitors to Level 2, as another entrance to experience the joyful landscape decked with Lancelin's floating wonders.
