Survivors of historical forced adoption are finally to receive a state apology, with Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer expected to address Parliament following a decades-long campaign.
The Prime Minister is expected to stand in the Commons and acknowledge the harm caused to an estimated 185,000 babies of unmarried mothers adopted in England and Wales between 1949 and 1976.
