
Sir Keir Starmer has said he will meet Donald Trump for “one-on-one” talks in a push to get the US-UK trade deal over the finish line as leaders seek to put on a united front in the face of global instability at the G7 summit.
The Prime Minister said he expected the economic pact to be completed “very soon” ahead of a meeting with the US president at the conference in the Canadian Rockies on Monday.
