The live show of Starliner’s return has concluded with the spacecraft landing safely at New Mexico’s White Sands Missile Range. The NASA and Boeing teams left the webcast on a positive note as the Starliner successfully completed its mission.
Rescue and recovery teams are currently en route to the landing site to ensure the safe retrieval of the spacecraft. Updates on the situation are expected to be provided around 1:30 a.m. ET during a news conference led by NASA officials.
It is worth noting that a Boeing representative will once again be absent from the news conference. This absence has been a recurring theme since NASA's decision on August 24 to deem the Starliner spacecraft unsafe for astronauts’ return.
