A survivor of the Stardust fire tragedy who has been eagerly searching for the return of her sister's picture has said that it is getting replaced.
Antoinette Keegan, who lost her sisters Martina and Mary in the tragic fire in February 1981, told Dublin Live yesterday that the picture hasn't been returned despite her appeal. She was speaking at the last preliminary hearing before the new inquest into the tragedy begins.
She confirmed that her cousin Ronan would replace the image of her sister Mary. It disappeared during a vigil last week to mark the 42nd anniversary of the fire.

She said: "We have it all over social media, in the news, and so far it hasn't come back. My cousin Ronan Keegan that did the photographs text me this morning that he's going to replace them. It's getting replaced, that's the main thing."
The inquest into the Stardust fire is set to take place on April 19. Antoinette told Dublin Live that the families of the 48 victims are feeling confident heading into the long-awaited inquest.
Speaking to Dublin Live outside the Pillar Room in the Rotunda, Antoinette said: "It's the last preliminary hearing insofar as it's all down to the expert witnesses now today and it concludes on that. Then we'll be starting the inquest on April 19.
"We're feeling very confident because we have a great team on board, a great legal team. We have the barristers from Hillsborough, experts from 9/11 and Grenfell Towers as well. So it's looking very good for us all now, for the first time in 42 years. We're feeling very confident now, this is our year."
