There are a few things that mark the start of a particular season that make girls of a particular demographic outstandingly happy.
The start of "Love Island," in the summer. The first Christmas song you hear at the start of the holidays. And of course, the first time you see Starbucks finally returning its beloved Pumpkin Spice Latte to the menu.

I know this, because I am one of those girls.
And according to a recent leak by food blogger and Instagrammer @Markie_Devo, we might just be finding out what Starbucks is planning to release for this fall early.
Typically, Starbucks brings its Pumpkin Spice Latte back on the last days of August, then continues to release seasonal offerings throughout the season. And while it doesn't look like Starbucks will be offering its fall favorites earlier this year, we are getting a glimpse of a few new items the coffee shop is planning on trying out this year.
Some of the new menu offerings are, according to the now-viral Instagram post:
Launching August 29:
- NEW: Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte
- NEW: Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Latte
- NEW: Baked Apple Croissant (at warming stores only)
- Pumpkin Spice Latte
- Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
- Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffin
- Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato
- Owl Cake Pop
Several of these items are obviously new, and it seems that Starbucks is really leaning into its fan-favorite flavor that put its seasonal specialities on the map: pumpkin.
But the Instagram post also mentions that Starbucks' ground Guatemala Casi Cielo coffee will also hit shelves at this time.
"Excuse me Dunkin I’ma let you finish, but Starbees has a mucho better menu for fall," @Markie_Devo wrote in the caption, adding, "This menu is rumored to drop on August 29th and will run until November 1st at all participating locations nationwide."
Other Coffee Chains Come in With Fall Flavors
Dunkin Donuts in recent years has taken cues from Starbucks' success and set its own fall menu. Part of the New England-based chain's strategy has been releasing its fall menu earlier than Starbucks for coffee drinkers who want their fall fix earlier. Its pumpkin-inspired flavors are set to release August 16.
Instagrammer @Markie_Devo published Dunkin's alleged fall menu in mid-July. Some of the Dunkin items will be:
- Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte
- Nutty Pumpkin Coffee
- Maple Sugar Bacon Breakfast Sandwich & Snackin’ Bacon
- Pumpkin Donut & Munchkins
- Pumpkin Muffin
And for Halloween, Dunkin will release a limited spider donut between October 11-31.
