After a relentlessly hot summer, refreshingly cooler temperatures have shifted our thoughts to fall — naturally, this makes us crave the flavors that define the season.
Enter Starbucks’ (SBUX) fall menu. It’s the first sign of the changing seasons and is arguably more anticipated than the leaves turning or kids going back to school.
In 2024, Starbucks is bringing the pumpkin spice latte back in a variety of hot, cold, and frozen formats as well as introducing several new bakery and beverage items that emphasize cozy fall flavors like pumpkin, apple, and cinnamon.
Here's everything you need to know about the iconic coffee chain's 2024 autumn offerings.
When does Starbucks' fall menu come out?
In 2022, Starbucks’ fall menu came out on August 30; in 2023, the company moved the date up nearly a week, to August 24.
In 2024, Starbucks launched its fall menu earlier than it ever has, on Thursday, August 22. This information first came from an anonymous Starbucks employee in Virginia who spilled the proverbial beans to USA Today, and Britain’s The Sun reported that other Starbucks employees in locations around the U.S. also confirmed the date — and they should know. Not only has their creativity been tapped for previous fall menus; baristas are also responsible for changing store displays each season.

Just as quickly as Starbucks ushers in the fall, it switches over to Santa season, so get these items while you can.
Starbucks typically introduces its holiday menu in early November — it features more wintry flavors like gingerbread and mint, including the company’s #2 best-selling drink, the frosty peppermint mocha.
