A Starbucks customer claims she was "dress-coded" by a member of staff who took issue with her t-shirt top when she popped in for her favourite coffee.
Ezzy Styles was left stunned when the barista said her cream tube top with a detailed pink heart didn't fit in with their 'full top policy'.
However, the coffee lover claims she doesn't see issue, maintaining that her outfit choice was "cute".
Taking to TikTok to share her experience, Ezzy wrote: "Like… cmon. Cause no way Starbucks dress-coded me," she said.
"I just got dress-coded at Starbucks. Be forreal, be so forreal right now. On campus too, at my big age!"
Ezzy claims the worker told her: "So sorry, it's just since this is an establishment, it's required that you wear a full shirt."
"I was like, 'b****, I'm not your employee. I don't work for you, I'm an adult'," she added.
Despite the unfortunate encounter, Ezzy assured viewers that the employee wasn't going to dull her shine - and allegedly wasn't fazed about the worker commenting on her self-proclaimed "cute" outfit.
"But let me tell you one thing, ain't no one gonna stop my shine today," she said.
"I just look too cute."
TikTok was quick to react to Ezzy's video, which she shared with her 290 followers on her account @ezzystyles.
Flocking to the comment section, viewers were torn over whether the TikToker's outfit was appropriate - with some praising the chic look while others believed it was "tacky".
One person wrote: "It's a private establishment. They can enforce whatever dress code they want… Have some shame, what you're wearing is tacky."
"Be for real, who goes out in public looking a hot mess?!" A different person questioned.
Coming to Ezzy's defence, a TikToker user commented: "Ur fit looks really cute! Idk why Starbucks was givin u s***! For every1 givin u s*** in the comments don't pay any mind to them, they jealous asf!""
A different user questioned: "How the hell is it possible to be dress-coded for a tube top in public?"
The Mirror has contacted Starbucks for comment.
