William Shatner has boldly gone back to his ex-wife, three years after he handed her $2million in a divorce deal.
The Star Trek icon, 91, has rekindled his relationship with Elizabeth Martin, 64, admitting she is the critical factor in his burning passion for life.
The pair separated after 18 years of marriage in February 2019. Their divorce was finalised a year later.
Shatner and his fourth wife arrived arm-in-arm at the Living Legends of Aviation Awards in Beverly Hills last Friday. The event, which was hosted by John Travolta, marked Shatner's contributions to aerospace.
It is thought to have been the pair's first red carpet appearance since they got back together.
At the event, Shatner received the Aviation Inspiration and Patriotism Award for being the oldest person to travel to space when he flew on Jeff Bezos' Blue Origin in 2021.
In an exclusive interview, he told me: "My wife… she is the zest of life. She brings the flavour." The pair then discussed how best he should describe that "spice".
Shatner suggested: "Mustard?" before Elizabeth corrected him and said: "Cinnamon."

Reports claim that as part of the couple's prenuptial agreement, Shatner – who found fame in the original Star Trek TV series as Starship Enterprise captain James T. Kirk – paid Elizabeth a lump sum of $2million (£1.6million) but kept most of his $100million (£80million) estate and Star Trek royalties.
The Canadian has starred in countless other series, such as TJ Hooker, and has also enjoyed success with music and philanthropy.
Asked if he is a living legend both at work and home, Shatner said: "Well, I think getting out of bed every morning and breathing… I am, like, 'Wow'. I am a legend, I am breathing and I am still alive."
The actor also told how he continues to push his passion projects. He said: "I have been spending weekends on tour doing a show called The Unexplained. I am doing an album with the London Symphonic."
Elizabeth is the co-founder of The All Glory Project, providing animal therapy for veterans.
William was married to his first wife, Gloria Rand, from 1956 to 1969. They had three daughters Leslie, Lisabeth and Melanie.
In 1973, he wed actress Marcy Lafferty. They divorced in 1996. The next year he married Nerine Kidd, who died aged 40 in 1999.
