With timing that was certainly not a coincidence, Ole Miss star running back Quinshon Judkins committed to Ohio State out of the transfer portal on Monday night, moments after Michigan captured its first national title since 1997 with a 34–13 win over Washington.
“I am extremely excited to join THE Ohio State football program,” Judkins posted on X. “…The running back brotherhood at Ohio State is incredibly special and I am grateful to have an opportunity to be a part of that.”

The rising junior will have two years of eligibility remaining following two incredibly productive years at Ole Miss. Judkins rushed for 2,725 yards and 31 touchdowns across his two seasons in Oxford, emerging as one of the best running backs in the SEC.
Judkins will step in and play alongside Buckeyes star running back TreVeyon Henderson. On paper, the running back tandem appears to be the best in college football heading into next season.
