Stanley Tucci and Priyanka Chopra have been spotted in London filming scenes for the second season of Citadel.
The actors, who play the roles of spy Nadia Sinh and tech genius Bernard Orlick in the Amazon Prime Video spy thriller series, have been shooting on the streets of Shoreditch, sending fans into a tizzy online.
Tucci, 63, and 42-year-old Chopra’s characters seemed to be having a very intense discussion in fan footage shared online.
He can be seen chasing her across the road while she desperately tries to get away from him.
In another scene, Tucci can be seen wagging his finger at her in an animated-looking argument.
Chopra is dressed in an all-black ensemble comprising of a leather-look roll neck jumper, fitted midi pencil skirt, long coat and crocodile print ankle boots. while he sports a navy jumper, khaki trousers and chunky brown boots.
In-between takes,, Chopra - who is married to Jonas Brothers star Nick Jonas - was also caught on camera laughing as she shared a joke with the cast and crew.
Someone posting the clip online penned: "POV: You see Priyanka Chopra and Stanley Tucci filming on your walk in Shoreditch."
People were quick to share their delight at getting this sneak behind-the-scenes look in the comments section.
"AAAAAAAAAA! I'm so excited for this season, OMG,” wrote one person.
"Let's go, can't wait,” penned another followed by red love heart emojis.
Season one of Citadel was one of the most expensive television series ever made with each of its six episodes reportedly costing $50m.
It was renewed for a second season in March, the month before it debuted.
During the first season, Chopra’s character and her partner Mason (played by Richard Madden), who work for spy agency Citadel, discover a dangerous new organisation, Manticore, and have their memories wiped with the pair living as strangers.
Eight years later, Tucci’s Bernard desperately needs Citadel’s top operatives but first must try to convince them of their past lives of which they have no memory.
It proved a hit with viewers and The Standard declared that “resistance is futile” in its 4-star review.
In addition to Tucci, Chopra and Madden is also set to return and they will be joined by new additions to the cast including Rahul Kohli, Merle Dandridge, and Michael Trucco.
David Weil will continue as showrunner, and Joe Russo will direct all episodes.
