Detectives currently investigating Nicola Bulley’s disappearance have reportedly been handed a glove that was “stained” near where she vanished almost three weeks ago.
On January 27 Bulley, a 45-year-old mortgage adviser, vanished while taking her springer spaniel Willow along a river towpath in St Michaels on Wyre. Initially, foul play was ruled out by police, who believed she fell into the River Wyre, near where her phone was found.
Police believe that Bulley, a mum of two who had dropped her two daughters, aged six and nine, at school prior to heading for a walk, fell into the River Wyre in a "10-minute window" between 9.10am and 9.20am on the day in question.

Although police have scoured the area and explored several lines of inquiry, including forensic experts searching the river, no trace of Nicola has yet been found.
However, new claims have emerged that may cast doubt on the working theory that Bulley may have fallen into the water. On February 7, two workers allegedly found a blue glove in a field close to where Nicola went missing which they handed to police, reports claim.
In a photograph published by The Sun, a ski glove can be seen on a fallen tree branch. It has been claimed that a video of the discovery was published on TikTok but has since been deleted.
The person sharing the video also reportedly claimed it was stained, however, they did not clarify what with. The glove has not yet been confirmed by Lancashire Police.
Police have reportedly kept with the theory that Nicola fell into the river in a tragic accident after the glove had been found.
Police will hold a press conference on Wednesday, February 15 to update the public about the ongoing search for Nicola and combat disinformation about her disappearance.
