A member of staff at a medical centre was reportedly injured by a patient as he left the premises.
Police were called to Green Lane Medical Centre in Tuebrook at around 9.50am on Tuesday (November 1). The ECHO understands a member of staff was injured after a patient smashed a glass screen at the reception desk.
A woman sustained a cut to her head from the incident and had to be treated at the centre. One person leaving the medical centre told the ECHO : "Staff don’t deserve to be abused for doing their job"

A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "At around 9.50am this morning, Tuesday 1 November, officers were called to a report of criminal damage at Green Lane Medical Centre in Tuebrook.
"A man broke a glass screen at the reception desk and left the centre. A woman sustained a cut to her head and received treatment at the centre.
"Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact us @MerPolCC or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 with reference log 262 of Tuesday 1 November."
