Staff at exam board AQA to stage 72-hour walkout over pay

AQA Unison Manchester

A 72-hour walkout is to be staged by staff at exam board AQA from Friday in a dispute over pay.

Members of Unison will take part in the strike, which the Manchester-headquartered AQA said will not affect students awaiting their GCSE and A-level results.

In response, the union said many of the 180 staff affected are struggling financially following successive below-inflation pay awards.
