Staff affected by collapse of £400m turnover Nottingham construction firm NMCN taking their case to tribunal

More than two dozen staff affected by the 2021 collapse of Nottingham construction firm NMCN are pursuing a claim over the way they lost their jobs.

Law firm Simpson Millar, which has offices across the UK, says it is representing 26 workers who claim NMCN failed to properly consult staff during the redundancy process. They are now taking the claim to an employment tribunal.

The Nottingham-based construction company – whose last accounts before it collapsed showed revenues of more than £400 million – went into administration October, with Grant Thornton appointed as administrators.
