Stade de Reims’ Belgian-English manager Will Still has revealed that he one day dreams of managing West Ham United.
The 30-year-old, whose managerial career was inspired by a love of playing computer game Football Manager, has been on a superb run as of late with Reims. Since becoming their manager in October, Still has taken charge of 13 matches with the Ligue 1 side, helping them to seal seven wins and draw their other six games.
That impressive run includes drawing 1-1 away at Paris Saint-Germain and coming from behind to win 4-2 at home to Lorient in Reims’ last two league matches.

Of those 13 games, 11 have come in Ligue 1, with the other two being wins in Coupe de France away from home against lower league sides. Since Still’s arrival, Reims have the sixth best record in France’s top-flight.
Reims are currently fined £22,000 per match because Still is yet to complete his UEFA Pro Licence qualification, but his record on the pitch has made that worthwhile so far.
Still’s short spell in Ligue 1 has attracted plenty of media attention and the 30-year-old, whose career started by managing Preston North End’s under-14s, has been speaking about who he would one day dream of managing.
In an interview with talkSPORT , Still was asked what club he would love to approach him about one day becoming their manager. He revealed that we would one day dream of managing West Ham, as he is a Hammers supporter.
“If I say it, I’m scared other teams aren’t going to ring me up,” said Still. “West Ham, I’ve always been a big West Ham fan.”
That answer prompted a response from former England and Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent, who was one of the hosts of the show.
Bent joked that because of West Ham’s poor season so far, Still would not be too far away from potentially getting the chance to manage his boyhood side.
“Oh, you’ll be close to getting that, don’t worry about that,” Bent added.
