Stacey Solomon is counting down the days until she marries former Eastenders' actor Joe Swash.
The couple plan on tying the knot in their luxurious £1.2million Pickle Cottage home. The 32-year-old mum-of-four has been working hard getting the property ready for the nuptials which are set to take place later this month.
She has been keeping her 5.3million Instagram followers up to date with the progress as they share her excitement. In true Stacey style, the presenter has created a lot of the décor herself - upcycling old lanterns and collecting her favourite fejkas to adorn her door.

Joe and Stacey got engaged on Christmas Eve 2020 during a family woodland walk. They were due to wed last year but their special day was postponed due to the pandemic and because Stacey fell pregnant with Rose. We take a look at all of the work she has done so far ahead of the big day.
Wedding door
Stacey received help while creating the perfect door design for her wedding day. It incorporated something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue. Stacey posed in front of the finished display with a grin from ear to ear as she was joined by baby Rose.
Taking to Instagram, she wrote: "Wedding Door done. This will forever be my favourite door of all time… I can not believe it’s already July. And we are getting married at the end of the month. Happy July Everyone. Love you all."
She added: "I can’t believe it’s actually happening. Something old - the horseshoes we found in pickle cottage when we moved in. Something new - the Mr & Mrs sign. Something borrowed - @emlouflowers Leant me some of her beautiful white Roses and eucalyptus. SomeThing blue - the sky as we finished it. Thank you Em I love you. Felt like Thelma & Louise these last two days."
Husband-to-be, Joe, commented on the post. He said: "Love you xxx"
Homemade wedding signs
Stacey decided to make her own wedding crafts including elegant looking mirrored signs. She saved money by upcycling old mirrors that they already had at Pickle Cottage and using some of her sister's, Jemma aka Label Lady, stickers to have custom text on them.
She decorated the edge of the rounded mirror with old fake flowers in whites and greens to match the wedding door. Mrs-Swash-to-be said: "So I’m trying to use things we already have to make bits for the wedding instead of buying new things. I’m making a welcome sign from our mirror & old fake flowers, then I can reuse the flowers after and put the mirror back.”
Stacey added: "So I just glued some fake flowers around the edge. Glue gun glue will just peel off. Then I bought a couple of labels from my sister @label.lady1 – and that’s it welcome sign complete."
Stacey then shared a photo of the finished sign which read: “Welcome to the wedding of Stacey & Joe forever.” She added: “It’s so hard to get a picture of it because it’s a mirror, but it’s so pretty in real life – I’m so pleased with it.”
Upcycled wedding lanterns
Stacey posted a series of videos to her Instagram story of her making “wedding lanterns” and wrote: “So I'm decorating the front door for the wedding. So I spent today changing all of my Christmas door decorations to wedding theme.”
She began by spray painting the lanterns white and then added some greenery inside with a tall candle. Stacey said: “It’s so great what a bit of paint and some flowers can do and I'll just jazz them up again after ready for Autumn. Don’t worry I won't light these candles they’re just nice and heavy to weigh the lanterns down.”
The wedding aisle pergola
Stacey asked her followers recently if she should walk down the whole pergola to meet fiancé Joe. Taking to Instagram from her garden, the presenter spoke her outdoor wedding plans and how the space will be transformed.
She said: "This morning I had to meet with the caterers, florists & everyone in between because I almost forgot we are getting married in three months' time. We are on the last part now, the aisle. And my sister just put a load of candles in my kitchen jars at the bottom where we are going to stand and I'm crying".
Stacey said her "whole stomach is churning" as she looked down the pergola, contemplating the long walk she will do down the aisle. She asked fans "Should we just get married half way down the isle? [sic] Because it’s such a long walk.
"Is it too long? I’m scared to walk that far in front of everyone. I think I’ll just end up falling over or laughing at how long it’s taking me to get down the isle [sic]. But I love the end of the arches. Help."
