Stacey Solomon told 'don't patronise me' by fuming Joe Swash after rare night out together

Joe Swash fumed 'stop patronising me' at his wife Stacey Solomon as she smugly continued her new fitness journey. Last week, the Loose Women star gave fans a glimpse inside a never-before-seen room in their Essex abode - the gym.

Stacey vowed to make a change after venturing into the Pickle Cottage gym. While the TV star's loyal social media followers have often seen inside the enormous Essex pad, which has been dubbed Pickle Cottage in a nod to Stacey's nickname for her children, the gym space was one her fans hadn't seen before.

The room, which had been branded in large white writing on the floor spelling out 'Pickles Gym', had simply been left to collect dust - as did the exercise equipment acquired by former EastEnders star Joe. She explained how Joe decided to take the bike-based exercise machine for himself during one of Stacey's clearouts with a family on her BBC show Sort Your Life Out.

But it hasn't been used since and Stacey was determined to change that. In a previous social media post Stacey said: "I’m going to try and use it every day. If I don’t for the next month then the whole lot is going to charity. Because it’s such a waste! I hate the gym tbh but I hate waste more so maybe this will be good for me."

And Stacey has been true to her word and only took one day off her new fitness regime as she returned to filming away from home for the first time since giving birth to baby Belle back in February. Taking to Instagram on Sunday (May 14) as she basked in the spring sunshine, the TV star said to her followers: "I'm going to go gym now while everyone's outside in the garden so I can watch them all."

She then said: "Joe hates me right now because he hasn't found his gym motivation yet," as it became clear her husband, who was recently seen in I'm A Celebrity... South Africa, was beside her, just off camera. "He hasn't found his gym motivation yet," Stacey repeated before turning and saying: "You'll get there!"

But Joe, 41, didn't take too kindly to the support. "Don't patronise me. You've done one week and you think you're like an Olympian." But Stacey was on the wind-up as she replied: "It's for you as well because when you're old and I need to get you in and out of the bath at stuff, I can carry you."

She laughed as Joe continued to chime in in the background. She then followed up with a video of their one-year-old daughter Rose clearly enjoying her mum's new regime as she held on to 'weights' and gave her best squat. "Rose showing me up with her perfect squats," Stacey laughed.

And to clarify before getting any unnecessary comments, the former X Factor finalist added: "She's not holding weights don't worry Wilma. They're just plastic loops," adding another crying laughing emoji. It comes after Joe and Stacey enjoyed a rare night out together.

The loved-up couple, who wed in a stunning garden ceremony at their home last July, left young children Rex, Rose and baby Belle at home, but were joined by Stacey's sons Zach, 14, and Leighton, 11 at the boxing bout of KSI and Joe Fournier at Wembley Arena on Saturday night.

Earlier in the evening, Stacey revealed her wardrobe crisis to her fans, as she admitted she was trying to dress "cool". Speaking to her millions of Instagram followers, she said: "Now taking the big boys out and having a wardrobe crisis."

In a later snap with her two sons, she joked: "Just me trying to be a cool mum but why are my eyes closed." But seeing how thrilled her sons were on the night out, she shared a video and gushed online: "Officially the world's coolest mum I haven't seen Zach and Leighton this excited for so long."
