Stacey Solomon sips first alcoholic drink in 13 years as she jets off on child-free trip

Loose Women star Stacey Solomon has been living life to the fullest on a rare child-free holiday with husband Joe Swash.

The pair have jetted off to Austria to attend a friend's wedding, with Stacey Solomon enjoying a rare alcoholic drink as she sipped on a G&T on the flight.

The mum of six, who gave birth to her youngest child earlier this year, joked on social media that husband Joe was "trying to get me drunk" as she sipped her drink onboard the plane.

The star also hinted that Joe might have cheeky plans for giving his wife of almost a year an alcoholic drink as she teased: "I know your game."

Speaking on her Instagram stories, Stacey also told her followers of her get ready plans as she explained: "I'm doing my makeup on the plane, because as soon as we get there, we've got to get dressed and go straight to the wedding."

She then showed off the mini airplane sized bottle of gin as she added: "Joe keeps trying to get me drunk at every opportunity. Because we are alone, he's like 'have some gin."

She eyed her husband as she joked: "I know your game."

Stacey went on: "I haven't drank [alcohol] since I met him (in 2010), so I thought 'maybe I will, I've got no kids, maybe I'll just pour myself a drink'."

Stacey, who has previously said she prefers a Diet Coke to alcohol, then sniffed the gin before pulling a grimace. After spilling out too much of the spirit, she then attempted to pour it back into the tiny bottle.

She continued: "That's probably too much isn't it? For the first drink in about 20 years."

Stacey also shared her favourite hair styling hack with followers as she revealed she'd wrapped her hair in heatless curlers to make sure her locks were suitably styled when she attended the wedding later.

Wearing a black and white coord, Stacey had her long hair in the roller during the airport and on board the flight.

The trip away without their kids is a rarity for Stacey and Joe, who between them have sis children. The couple are parents to Rex, Rose and Belle with Stacey also mum to sons Zachary and Leighton. Joe also has a son called Harry from a previous relationship.
