Stacey Solomon shows off incredible dinosaur-themed bathroom that's made Rex smile

Stacey Solomon has shown off the incredible dinosaur-themed bathroom she’s created for son Rex.

The 32-year-old has been hard at work tackling small projects in the renovation of her and Joe Swash ’s £1.2 million Essex mansion over the last few weeks, and her latest project has seen the two-year-old’s bathroom get a prehistoric makeover.

Dinosaur-obsessed Rex now has his very own room to splish and splash as doting mum Stacey has overhauled the dreary wood-panelled space into a black and white bathroom of dreams.

She posted before-and-after snaps of the room on her Instagram Stories, and shared snaps of a delighted Rex exploring his new bathroom.

“I still can't believe how it started here,” she wrote.

Stacey opted for white brick tiles along the huge plunge bath to create a feature wall, and chose large white glossy tiles around the rest of the room.

The Loose Women co-host installed a crittal shower screen, and finished it off with sweet dinosaur stencils, as well as one spelling out her son’s name.

Rex could be seen beaming in one snap, as he sat on Stacey’s DIY tiled steps to the bath.

“Dino bathroom done. Rex, you melt my whole heart. I've loved making dino bathroom so, so much,” she wrote atop the picture.

"Sticking dino feet to the wall and making toilet roll holders out of T-Rexes was the BEST. To the moon and back, pickle.

“Can't wait for all the bath time fun before you grow up and start soap dodging like your brothers. Now please stay obsessed with dinos for at least ten years,” she joked.

Stacey is also mum to sons Zachary and Leighton, from previous relationships, as well as baby daughter Rose, who she welcomed in October last year.

Not only did Stacey repurpose some of Rex’s old toys to make into towel hooks, soap stands and toilet roll holders, she also managed to wow her followers by unveiling a rare matte black toilet.

“I have never had so many messages about a toilet! It took me so long to find! It is black outside and black inside! So now... I don't have to look at all the skid marks! They will blend in!” she joked.
