Stacey Solomon shows off bargain Disney Christmas tree for kids after defending own decorations

Stacey Solomon has shown off her children's very own bargain Disney-inspired Christmas tree after being forced to defend some of her own festive decorations. The Loose Women star took to Instagram to show off the latest addition to her family home in Essex after spending her Sunday getting crafty with the kids.

On her Instagram stories, Stacey, 33, shared a video of the silver tree which had been decked out with plenty of Disney-themed baubles and plush toys as well as her own DIY Mickey Mouse creation which sat proudly at the top of the tree.

"Me, Rex and Leighton finished their tree this afternoon," Stacey typed alongside the video. She also added: "England scoring at the end of this video," alongside a string of crying laughing emojis as her festive video got disrupted by the Three Lions taking on Senegal in their last 16 match at the World Cup in Qatar on Sunday (December 4) which saw them win 3-0 and head straight into the quarter-finals of the tournament.

The Sort Your Life Out presenter also shared an adorable photo of young daughter Rose sat in front of the large Christmas tree which had been adorned from top to bottom with an array of Disney-themed decorations. "The Disney tree, done," Stacey wrote alongside the sweet image which also showed Rex, three, hiding behind a big, festive-inspired Mickey Mouse.

"Looking forward to re-doing this every damn day," she laughed, seemingly referring to her one-year-old little girl who was inquisitively looking at the sparkling tree lights and faux presents that had been wrapped in brown paper and stamped with the iconic Mickey Mouse head.

"Rose is OBSESSED," the mum-of-four confirmed before r evealing that the decorations had come from Primark. "We bought some Disney decorations from Primark today they had so many good ones to add to it," Stacey said.

Her latest festive offering comes days after she showed off her own 'dream' Christmas tree - and you probably won't see anything else like it. The former X Factor star and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here winner posted a sweet compilation video on Instagram which showed her creating the tree she always wanted.

She transformed what was a white plastic tree into a neutral design by adding a lot of pampas grass which had kindly been donated by her neighbours after dreaming up her design. "And The Tree Is Up," she started te caption of her transformation video. "I Finally Made My Dream Christmas Tree. I’ve been dreaming about this b***min tree for years."

Stacey went on to explain: "I never had enough pampas to make one! This year my lovely neighbour said I could trim his pampas bush and use it to make my tree. I had to hunt and borrow from anyone and everywhere to fill it there’s not one vase left in my house with anything in it. It took so much more than I’d realised and at times I thought I’d NEVER fill every gap but I finally did it!"

She added: "I’m so proud of it and in love with it Looking forward to hoovering under it every day until the big man arrives! Now to add baubles or not to add baubles that is the question! Happy December Everyone."

Stacey also shared the video on TikTok and while some were impressed, others didn't feel like it got them in the Christmas spirit. One follower said: "Looks cute, but i dont get a single christmas vibe lol," to which Stacey decided to reply: "Aw it’s my Christmas vibe. The kids tree will be like Christmas just threw up on it so there’s a balance."

Another said: "I don't know, a little bland for me when having small children. I do Xmas for my kids so the more colourful and fun the better and exciting for them!" And Stacey responded: "That’s so nice! I like to do a bit of both. I love doing the kids fun tree but I also love my stuff too and like to be a mum but also be me."
