Stacey Solomon shares 'nice' part of having late pregnancy as she shares look at baby scan after gender reveal

Stacey Solomon has shared the 'nicest' part of finding out about her pregnancy at a later stage as she shares a sweet look at her unborn baby which she has also revealed is a girl. The Sort Your Life Out host delighted fans when she announced back on December 28 that she was eight months pregnant.

But just a couple of days later she stunned her loyal followers when she shared a gorgeous post on Instagram on December 30 which saw Stacey showcase her blossoming bump for the first time. "Coming soon… Much sooner than we thought," she wrote.

The 33-year-old, who married husband Joe Swash in July, explained: "When we found out we still wanted to have that first few months you usually would to adjust and get excited and enjoy it to ourselves, but that didn’t leave us with very long left so this time next month we will be getting ready to say hello to a whole new pickle. So grateful."

And with the baby due any day now, and after being quizzed on the bundle of joy's gender, Stacey finally revealed all after heading for her latest scan. She first took to her Instagram story to share a look at her unborn baby on the sonogram as she bared her bump for the sonographer at the doctor.

"Hello baby," she typed alongside the adorable video as she filmed the screen in front of her as she lay on the doctor's bed. "One of the nicest surprised to come from being what they call a 'late booking' pregnancy [cyring laughing emoji] is going for extra check ups to make sure the size of baby and dates are making sense because it's much harder to measure later on in pregnancy."

She then laughed as she addressed what she could see on the screen: "There is literally NO room left in there." And her post clearly prompted more gender questions and so she posted a snap of her fussing her beloved pup, Teddy, who was getting up close to her exposed baby bump as she gazed down smiling.

Stacey wrote alongside the image: "Soooo many of you asking this. So..." But it took her a while to finish the sentence and after the anticipation amongst her more then five million followers, she finally shared that her youngest daughter, Rose, was going to have a baby sister.

The Loose Women star shared a string of images to her Instagram grid which showed her in a happy embrace with Rose, who was born on Stacey's 32nd birthday in October 2021. "When Rose Found Out She’s Going To Have A… Sister," Stacey penned. "So excited to share with you that we are going to be saying hello to another darling daughter soon. Sisters."

She added: "The boys are so excited. And the thought of Rose having a little sister as well as all of her amazing big brothers has filled Our hearts. I have the most incredible sisters in the world. They are my everything. I’m so excited for the boys, Rose and our newest little girl…"

And the messages came flooding in. Influencer and bestie Mrs Hinch, said: "Solomon Swash Sisters. Just perfect and a beautiful bond for life, love you all xxx." Presenter Kate Thornton replied: "That’s lovely Stace! Congratulations to you all! X" TOWIE star Georgia Kousoulou wrote: "Awwwww love love love." Fomer Made In Chelsea star Ashley James added: "Ahhhh so excited for you!! Congratulations. And we'll be baby girl twins!"

It comes after Stacey quashed the latest rumours that she had gone into labour due to her social media silence by sharing a candid snap to her Instagram Story ahead of having a viewing party with her family as she returned to TV screens. Stacey was back on BBC One on Wednesday night (January 25) with a new series of Sort Your Life out.
