Stacey Solomon has shared a video of the sweet moment her daughter took in the magic of a Disney parade as she whisked the youngster off for her first birthday. The Loose Women star celebrated her 33rd birthday on Tuesday (October 4) while little Rose turned one on the same day.
She gave birth to Rose at the family's home, adorably dubbed Pickle Cottage, after Stacey initially went to hospital to be checked over. After returning home, Rose was ready for her arrival into the world and community midwives quickly arrived to help. Rose is Stacey and husband Joe Swash's second child together after son Rex, who was born in 2019.
Earlier this week, Stacey, who is also mum to two older sons, Zachary and Leighton, from previous relationships, shared her pride with her loyal followers after carrying on what has become a family tradition for her and her adorable brood. Stacey took to the kitchen to whip up a pink pumpkin-themed masterpiece after putting her skills to the test for her sons' birthdays over the years.
The presenter and former X Factor star shared a video of her using bright pink icing before creating some miniature pumpkins to decorate her baking creation. She also added Roses to the top and round the edge of the cake before creating a little bunting sign spelling out 'ONE'. Sharing the process and end results with her millions of followers and explaining how she had made homemade cakes for her sons' first birthday as well.
But there was more than just a cake to look forward to as Stacey and the family headed off to Disneyland Paris for a very magical celebration. Sharing an adorable video of the family at the front of one of Disney’s famous parades, Stacey showed the sweet moment Peter Pan's very own Wendy came over to Rose to say hello.
"Birthday magic. And now we are on the most magical Birthday adventure… my favourite place ever," Stacey shared alongside the heart-melting video. She could be seen donning a pink jumper emblazoned with Mickey and Minnie Mouse's faces and would a trip to to the most magical place on earth be complete without some Minnie ears?
Birthday girl Rose wore a Minnie Mouse-inspired red outfit to take all the action. And while Stacey said she wanted to share more content from their trip, she admitted: "We need a thousand pair of eyes while we are here [crying laughing emoji]." She then added: "Thank you for the LOVLIEST! KINDEST! birthday messages Rose and I could ever wish for. Love you all!"
And the celebrations didn’t end there, as on Wednesday morning, the family headed to enjoy breakfast with some of Disney's most loved and recognisable characters. Mum-of-four Stacey shared a video of her little girl walking around an empty Disney park in front of Cinderella's glistening castle.
"The most magical good morning ever," Stacey said. "Top tip book the 8:15am breakfast if you’re ever here, hardly anyone in the park." The excited mum could be heard in the background as she filmed her daughter, who recently took her first steps, wondering around the iconic location. "Look Rose," she shouted with glee as the rising sun glowed around the castle.
To mark Rose's first birthday, Stacey shared an emotional black and white video with her millions of followers. It featured clips and photos of Rose as well as alongside her doting siblings and parents throughout the last 12 months. "One Whole Year Of You Rose," Stacey typed alongside the video set to an acoustic version of 'My Girl'.
"Oh darling girl where did that year go? Happy First birthday, Our little angel. The most precious Rose in all of the world. Little did everyone know that as your daddy and brothers were singing happy birthday to me on this morning last year, my contractions started and you were ready to come and join in the celebration."
