She continued: “It doesn’t feel like a year, it feels like yesterday. We are still as excited & in love with it as we were on this first day. 13 years of saving and searching to find our Pickle Cottage & it’s been such a privilege to have the chance to bring it back to life."
Addressing her fans and followers, Stacey added: "And you’ve all been there every step of the way. What an adventure. With still so much more to do. I hope you’ve enjoyed sharing this journey with us, as we’ve just loved being on it."
Stacey and Joe have made a number of changes to make the house a home. We take a look back at some of the renovations they have worked on so far.
Baby Rose's nursery
Stacey wanted a girly room for her and baby Rose, who are the only women in the house. So, she created a pink and floral nursery for her youngest family addition.
The adorable room included installing a flower wall she made herself with faux roses. The busy mum spent hours carefully gluing the artificial blooms in place and finished off the area with a large mirror in the centre and velvet nursing chair.
Stating that it was a huge moment for her as she showed Rose her room, Stacey wrote: "I didn’t realise how emotional I would get about being in here with Rose.
"Rose, I dreamed of bringing you in here, feeding you in your chair, playing with you, getting you dressed, just everything was even more special than I could have ever dreamed of. I hope you love your room as much as I loved every second of making it."
The pool
One particular job seems to be taking an exceptionally long time and fans of the Loose Women panelist have been keen to hear of an update. Pickle Cottage came with a swimming pool but it has yet to be filled, with fans wanting to be kept up to date on it's progress.
Just last week, she shared a short slip showing the pool still empty as she said: "While I'm outside, so many of you have been asking about the pool." She excitedly added: "It is getting there. All the sides are in ready for the safety cover, it just has to be rendered and tiled. And then we can fill it up!"
They initially had the pool safe proofed and cleaned by The Pool Guy. Now all that seems to be left is filling it up.
The 'mermaid' bathroom
Stacey has named her bathroom the 'mermaid bathroom' because of its iridescent white tiles that cover each wall. And now she's added extra details to bring it together.
She took to Instagram with a photo of two white plinths and said "my sister had these plinth things for when she used to make balloons so I've stolen them. I think they'll look good in the mermaid bathroom. They might be ridiculous but it's worth a try."
She then went on to paint each plinth with "leftover bedroom paint" and "some stone spray" and made her fiance Joe Swash bring them into the house and showed off the transformation to her fans, saying "I think they're quite cool, maybe I'm a bit mad."
The magical bathroom also features two huge shell shaped sinks. They are completed with gold taps and a near under-sink shelf.
Joe's home gym
Joe had his own little getaway room installed in one of the many outhouses of Pickle Cottage. He opted to treat himself to a home gym.
Stacey and Joe chose GarageStyleLtd to install flooring into the new gym and the company shared pictures that they took of the completed space to Instagram page to show the transformation. The gym comes with a sleek grey floor with the words Pickles Gym adorably embossed onto it.
Joe was over the moon with the finished product, as he was videoed holding Rex. He said: "It's got a lovely little border around the edge. The name finishes it off lovely. There you have it - there's Pickles gym. Just need to get in there and use it. The garage looks amazing. There's no excuses now, I'm going to get myself fit."
