Stacey Solomon was in tears as she showed off her eagerly-awaited new kitchen at her £1.2 million Essex mansion.
The Loose Women star took to her Instagram Stories to update her followers on the ongoing renovations at the property, which she and fiancé Joe Swash bought last year.
“The kitchen started going in yesterday, so I’m going to get dressed and show you,” Stacey wrote atop a snap of her hand a cup of tea while her gorgeous daughter Rose was smiling in the background.
“And then I have to sort out a few bits out here at Pickle Cottage before me and Rose head off for a few meetings,” she continued, as she wished her followers a “happy Tuesday”.
Later, she shared a video montage of her revealing one corner of the partially finished kitchen, and said she was over the moon with the results.
“We have one corner of a kitchen and I’ve never been so excited,” Stacey wrote.
“The plate rack,” she added, alongside crying face emojis.
In the pristine white kitchen, which overlooks the extensive gardens at the £1.2 million cottage she and Joe bought last year, a built-in dishwasher could be seen, alongside the chic Belfast-style sink unit.
She finished the clip by placing a scalloped cream plate into the rack, which overhangs one of the units.
“Finally getting somewhere,” she wrote.
“It’s just the shell atm (at the moment) I’m so excited to show you the cupboard insides, worktops, handles & inserts when they come,” Stacey added.
She then asked her 5.1 million Instagram followers for their advice on certain accessories in her kitchen.
“Also, the tap is just a dummy. I’m thinking Gold. Taps handles and plug sockets, what do you think? Would you go gold or silver? I think gold is warmer,” Stacey mused.
The former X Factor finalist recently revealed her bathroom makeover, calling it the ‘mermaid’ room as it was decorated in scallop shell luminescent tiles.
“Mermaid Bathroom done. Here she is… finally! This is where you will find me from now on. I think this may be my favourite room at pickle cottage so far,” she captioned the video montage.
“I painted this room black and white when we moved in because we knew it would be a year or so before we could do it properly but it was worth the wait!” the mum-of-four added, as she gave her followers a peek at the before-and-after transformation.
Stacey and Joe moved into Pickle Cottage last year, after revealing they had saved up to buy their dream ‘forever’ home which could house their blended family.
