Stacey Solomon has taken to Instagram to treat fans to a guided tour of her ongoing home renovations. The Loose Women star has had a very busy year so far what with her TV commitments, planning a wedding to fiancé Joe Swash and raising her four children.
But she's also found the time to oversee the fixing up of her family's Pickle Cottage home in Essex. The 32-year-old also revealed she'll be bringing out a new book in the autumn called Tap to Tidy at Pickle Cottage, in which she will divulge her best kept decorating secrets and hacks.
"I definitely don’t tell myself often enough how proud I am of all of the love and hard work I’ve put into Pickle Cottage, " said Stacey. "Not a day has gone by in the last year that I haven't worked my little bum off doing whatever I could to make this special house our home.

"Watching all of these videos back I've never felt so empowered - this whole process has made me feel like I can do anything. I am so grateful that we had this chance and I’ll never take it for granted.
“All I ever wanted to do is pour love into our home and bring it back to life. We aren’t fully finished yet, these things take time and hard work but I’m so so proud of how far it’s come along - I’ve loved every single second of it.
“Cheesy as it sounds I’ve learned so much along the way and things I wished I’d know before I started. But most importantly doing as much as I could myself has made me feel like I can achieve anything I put my mind to."
She added that she's been documenting everything she's learned so far and has put it all in a new book of DIY tips and hacks called Tap To Tidy at Pickle Cottage, due in September. Stacey said she wants it to empower anyone "who's never felt confident enough to go for it themselves."
OK Magazine reported that she's dedicated it to "my whole world - Joe, my Pickles, Teddy & Peanut," also mentioning her dog Theo who passed away in December 2021. "Thank you for the best 13 years I could have ever wished for - here’s to forever, darling girl," she said.
The three minute montage on Insta shows off her nifty decorating tips for Rex and Rose’s bedrooms, the bathroom and games room - from sanding and panelling to painting and building an outdoor playhouse. The clip also reveals the property's stunning pool transformation.
