Stacey Solomon forced to make change as she plans for home birth with fifth child

Stacey Solomon has been forced to make a bit of a lifestyle change as she prepares for the arrival of her fifth child. The Sort Your Life Out host is heavily pregnant with her and her husband Joe Swash's third child together.

The couple, who announced they were expecting again last month, are already parents to one-year-old Rose and Rex, three. Stacey also has older sons Zachary, 14, and Leighton, 10, from previous relationships while Joe also has 15-year-old son Harry with his ex, Emma Sophocleous.

Over the weekend, Stacey and Joe, who tied the knot in a stunning ceremony in the garden of their home, dubbed Pickle Cottage, in July, enjoyed a child-free day and night after Stacey's dad, David, stepped in to let them have some alone time following Joe's 41st birthday.

Stacey, 33, took to Instagram to ask for suggestions on what they could do as they weren't used to being without their kids. Posting a picture of her and Joe beaming side-by-side and said: "We look like competition winners.

"Mum and dad off out kid free. Well almost." She then asked: "We actually have no idea where to go to. We are getting in the car and hoping for the best. What do people do on a Saturday afternoon with no kids?"

She then posted the sweet snap, which showed Stacey's blossoming bump in a figure-hugging brown dress, to her main Instagram grid and wrote: "Happy Birthday Bub. To the moon & back always & forever… love u. So Excited for a child free dinner! (except bumpy) It’s been A LONNNG time. Thanks to the legend that is Dave my dad for babysitting the brood love you."

On Sunday, Stacey returned to Instagram as she cracked on with her day and shared how she was having to make a bit of a change ahead of her bundle of joy's arrival. Posting a video of her making a smoothie, she wrote "On strict orders to keep my iron up... So vitamins and smoothies every day to make sure I can have a home birth."

It comes after the Loose Women star, who gave birthday to daughter Rose on her 32nd birthday in October 2021, shared how she was given a stern warning by her midwife. After being quiet on social media, Stacey returned on Friday (January 20) and apologised as her fans shared how they thought she had gone into labour.

Looking glowing with her blond locks styled into curls and sporting a black and white striped jumper, she said: "So many of you were like, 'Stace, don't do that to us, you've been so quiet for a few days we thought you had given birth'"

She then laughed as she said 'sorry' and panned the camera to show her blossoming baby bump that had been tucked into a pair of black leggings. "I'm very much still full-term pregnant. I just really wanted to try and make it to certain days before baby comes. I know I can't control it but my midwife was like, 'Look, if you even want the chance to get to those days, calm the hell down and don't do anything silly.'"

She explained how she's been trying to rest and said she was 'so excited' as she made it to that day in particular because her new collection is being prepared for release with In The Style and she has a photo shoot. "I really wanted to get to today because I know that I'm not going to have another collection for quite a while because I'm going to take some time off with baby."
