Stacey Solomon fears she might not be able to cover the bills for her £1.2million Essex mansion as energy prices are set to soar from tomorrow.
The TV star, 32, and her husband Joe Swash, 40, have worked hard on renovating their beloved Pickle Cottage, but calls the hike in bills "scary".
Speaking to The Guardian, she said: " If our energy bill doubles, then it might well be beyond our means in the future.
"I’m not saying it is the same for us as someone on the breadline, ’cos it blooming well isn’t. But it’s such a scary time.
"How have we allowed the country to get to this point? How can the government not be prepared for it?"
Their massive home, which is set on over two acres of land, has it's own outdoor pool and a Cluedo-style games room for Joe.
From October 1, the annual energy bill for a typical household will rise from £1,971 to £2,500 per year.
Energy costs have gone up after the conflict in Ukraine has seen a reduction in supplies of Russian gas after the country invaded.
The energy price cap will come into effect from tomorrow, meaning that there will be an energy price cap at £2,500 for each household.

Stacey and Joe tied the knot on the grounds of their home earlier this year in a star-studded ceremony.
The couple have two children together - Rex, who was born in 2019 and Rose, who was born on Stacey's birthday in 2021.
The mum-of-four has recently broken her silence on the backlash she received after she expressed her thoughts on the royal family on Loose Women.
The panellist told the audience: "I don’t get any of it. I don’t get why we are so obsessed with these humans that are exactly the same."
However, after the Queen's death, the clip has been doing the rounds on social media.
Speaking to The Guardian, she stressed the fact that she didn't speak ill of the royals after the Queen's passing.

She said that she had "nothing against the monarchy" and called the Queen a "lovely lady".
But she added that she didn't agree with the taxpayers money going towards "one of the wealthiest families in the world".
She added that she struggles to get her head around the fact that while some kids are starving, there is a percentage of money going to the royals every year.
