A television presenter has told how she feels "really lucky" to be expecting her first baby. Stacey Dooley who is 35 says by that age "you never take it for granted".
Speaking on the BBC One Show on Friday she spoke of her baby joy after announcing the good news earlier that day. She had told how she was expecting her first child with her boyfriend Kevin Clifton, who was her former Strictly Come Dancing partner, reports Birmingham Live.
She said she still found it hard to believe. She told host Ronan Keating: "I cant's quite believe it actually, I'm delighted.
"I feel really lucky because I'm 35 so you never take it for granted. I can't quite believe I'm going to be in charge of a little human being."
The presenter was on the show to talk about her new documentary, This will follow dancers from across the world as they take part in the British Open Championships in Blackpool.
Stacey and Kevin got together after dancing together on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018 - and winning the BBC show together. Stacey announced the happy news on her social media today with a photo of her growing baby bump.
In the sweet picture, she is seen cradling her belly and pulling up her top to reveal her bump. "We are having a baby!" she wrote under the photo. "So bloody delighted. Kev, you're magic. I love you.
"Was becoming impossible to hide and if one more person asks me if I've had my tits done in LA I'm gonna scream. Here goes."
Kevin was the first to react in the comments section, writing: "Love you." The couple were inundated with congratulations from their celebrity friends and fans.
