St Mirren recall striker in blow to Airdrieonians

Lewis Jamieson St Mirren Airdrie Airdrieonians Buddies Diamonds League One

Airdrieonians have suffered a blow after striker Lewis Jamieson was recallled by parent club St Mirren.

The 20-year-old joined the Diamonds on a season-long loan in the summer but his stay at New Broomfield has been cut short after impressing in League One.

Jamieson netted eight goals in 19 appearances for the Diamonds and the Buddies have move to bring him back to Paisley ahead of schedule.
