Rangers begin the defence of their Scottish Cup trophy this weekend as they battle it out with St Johnstone.
The Light Blues suffered defeat on their last visit to McDiarmid Park under former boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst - going down 2-1 in Perth as part of a run of results that cost the Dutchman his job. Michael Beale is now at the helm and extended his unbeaten run as boss after his side once again showed their powers of recovery to dump Kilmarnock in a five-goal thriller.
Saints have also lifted the famous old trophy in recent years so both clubs will know how special it is to be triumphant at Hampden in the end of season showpiece event. This is the first hurdle in that step as the duo bid for an extended cup run. Rangers have already reached the League Cup Final and will face Celtic at the national stadium next month. The latest domestic cup journey now begins. Here is all the information you need ahead of the all-Premiership showdown.
