St Enoch Christmas market explosion investigation launched after two injured in blast

St Enoch HSE Glasgow City Council

Glasgow City Council have launched a probe into an explosion on Monday at St Enoch Christmas markets.

Glasgow Live previously reported on a gas cannister explosion at the busy city centre site, resulting in two being rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary with burns as police cordoned off the area to investigate.

The two woman injured were working nearby the Chinese Noodle stall at the markets, which caught fire around 11am.
