NEW DELHI: Matheesha Pathirana and Binura Fernando bowled brilliant death overs as Sri Lanka narrowly edged Afghanistan by four runs in a T20I series opener in Dambulla on Saturday.

Rookie Lankan pacer Pathirana claimed four wickets to help rescue the hosts after their batting collapse.
