Rolling an ankle obviously isn't the worst injury an athlete can suffer, but anyone who's done it can attest to how painful it is. Athletes who roll or twist their ankles almost always need a moment to walk it off.
Unless they're named Victor Wembanyama.
During the Spurs' 93—82 loss to the Rockets on Monday night, Wembanyama was attempting to save a ball headed out of bounds when his right ankle twisted awkwardly, rolling until it was almost flat against the court.
But, to the astonishment of the announcers and NBA fans, Wembanyama stood up and jogged back down the floor as if nothing had happened. Here's the video of the moment, courtesy of ClutchPoints.

What are Wemby’s ankles made of? 🤯 pic.twitter.com/hDY0ct4Raz
As if fans needed any more reasons to suspect that the 7'4" Wembanyama, who handles and shoots the ball like a guard, is an alien. His ankles are seemingly incapable of rolling.
That wasn't the only thing that Wembanyama did against the Rockets that amazed fans. The Spurs rookie rose up for a huge poster dunk on Houston big man Alperen Sengun, one that left the internet buzzing.
The poster dunk obviously stole the headlines but it's safe to say that fans won't soon forget Wembanyama's freakish recovery after rolling his ankle.
