Sprint queen Torrie Lewis has completed the perfect preparation for the Glasgow Commonwealth Games by smashing her own Australian 100m record, taking down five-time Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah in the process.

Lewis claimed the win at the Tipos PTS meet in Slovakia in 11.04 seconds, stripping four hundredths of a second off the previous mark which the 21-year-old had set in the heats at last year's world championships in Tokyo.
