Chris Packham has been removed as the patron of a bird charity for becoming “too political” and doing no work for the organisation, according to reports.
Birds of prey rehabilitation charity Raptor Rescue's chairman, Malcolm Robbins said that the 62-year-old Springwatch presenter's association with them had ended over a year ago,“He was a patron, but we hadn’t heard from him in a long time, he hadn’t done anything for the charity, and we couldn’t contact him,” Mr Robbins told the Daily Telegraph.
