Spread betting platform invests in fashion giant eyed by Mike Ashley's Frasers Group

A trading platform has invested in the Manchester-headquartered owner of Simply Be, JD Williams and Jacamo.

OvalX, which recently rebranded from ETX Capital, has snapped up a 5% stake in the listed group.

OvalX is financial services product providing financial derivatives trading such as contracts for difference and financial spread betting and corporate brokerage services.
