Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are wrapping up their Australian tour today. They spent one of their last appearances in Bondi before making their way to the Sydney Harbour, and Meghan made sure that she left a lasting impression on Australia’s fashion enthusiasts. The Ducchess of Sussex was spotted wearing not one, but three different local brands.
The three lucky labels to make up the ensemble are none other than notorious denim brand Rolla’s, Matteau and Scanlan Theodore. So we’ve got some affordable, mid-range and high street action going on.
During her visits to Bondi Beach and Sydney Harbour, Meghan wore the Classic Stripe Shirt ($420) from Matteau and knotted it at the torso. She paired it with the Rolla’s Sailor Jean ($159.95) — one of the brand’s best-selling styles — in a creamy off-white colour.
As an owner of these jeans, I can personally vouch for them and say they’re extremely comfortable. Meghan has great taste — and now her and I can match!
While the Duchess of Sussez was already donning shoes, she was gifted a bespoke pair of thongs that said “G’Day Megs” from Invictus Australia veteran Joel Vanderzwan.
“G’Day Megs! I love it!” she laughed as she accepted the iconic Aussie footwear.
The most expensive aspect of Meghan’s casual chic outfit ensemble was the bag, a stunning cognac-coloured suede tote from Scanlan Theodore. The Athos Shopper Tote retails for $950, and is a simple and elegant carry-all shoulder bag with knot detailing on the straps. I’m adding it to my wishlist as I type!
It’s not the first time the Duchess of Sussex has supported this particular Australian label. During her last visit to the country in 2018, Meghan wore the ‘Pomegranate Crepe Knit Jacket’, a form-fitting, peplum style knit jacket with bow detailing at the waist.
