Crucial 77-second window during Bondi stabbing rampage

The sixth and final person fatally wounded during a stabbing rampage might have hastily exited the shopping mall instead of returning for her dropped water bottle, if an alarm had sounded earlier.

Pikria Darchia, 55, was among 16 people, including a nine-month-old baby, stabbed during a three-minute attack in a Bondi Junction shopping centre in April 2024.
