Spotify Wrapped: These are the alternatives across the internet

Spotify Wrapped launched yesterday, with some music fans calling this year’s drop the best yet.

“This year's Wrapped might've been the best one yet,” one user said on Reddit, “It just felt so lively in comparison to last year's mid.”

Spotify Wrapped sends subscribers their personalised roundup of their listening habits, breaking down the top albums, artists and genres they’ve enjoyed listening to this year.

But not everyone was satisfied with this year’s music round-up. Another Reddit user called Spotify Wrapped 2025 “uncreative and inaccurate”.

They said: “The design and (lack of) creativity genuinely keeps worsening each year.”

One issue is that Spotify is thought to cut off its analysis in late October to mid November, so the music you’ve been enjoying recently won’t be factored into your Wrapped.

Thankfully, there are plenty of other platforms giving music lovers the chance to delve further into their listening habits — at any time of the year.

Here’s a round-up of some of the best:

Stats for Spotify

Stats for Spotify is a website that lets you track your top tracks, artists and genres. You can also compare how this has changed since the last time you visited the site, with arrows indicating shifts in rankings.

Stats.fm

Another option is stats.fm. The website also gives you a breakdown of your top tracks, artists and albums (for the past four weeks, six months or as long as you’ve had Spotify), as well as letting you import your lifetime streaming history.

Pudding

If you’re feeling confident about your music taste, you might want to try out Pudding, an AI tool that roasts you for what you’re listening to. It has round-ups such as “your worst songs 2020”.

Instafest

A playful alternative is Instafest, a website that concocts a dream festival line-up with your most listened to artists. You can customise the festival poster to make it really feel like your own.

Icebergify

If you’re interested to find out how niche your music taste is, you might want to try Icebergify. The website takes your 50 top artists (of your short-term, medium-term and long-term listening trends) and organises them based on their popularity or obscurity.

Receiptify

Another quirky tool is Receiptify, which re-envisions your favourite songs into a receipt of your musical taste.

Sort Your Music

True music-heads may want to try out Sort Your Music. The website gives you in depth analysis of what you’re listening to, including a song’s BPM, loudness, valence, energy, danceability, popularity, and more.
