Spotify has said its back up and running after users reported issues accessing the platform for a time on Tuesday evening.
Listeners took to social media to vent their frustrations after experiencing problems with the app.
Some customers reported being logged out and unable to sign back in, while others said it was showing their account had been deleted.
The Down Detector service monitoring website said it has received tens of thousands of outage reports in the last two hours.
But the issues appear to have been rectified, with Spotify tweeting on Tuesday evening: “Many customers were recently having problems logging in and reaching customer support.
“Things are looking better, but if you’re still having issues, please reach out to us again”.

Listeners began reporting problems on Tuesday evening via Twitter and the Down Detector service monitoring website.
One person wrote: “this isn’t very premium of you spotify”.
Another said: “not spotify logging me out and then saying they have no record of my acc even though i’ve been paying for premium for almost a year now”.
A third person added: “The last 30 minutes without Spotify have been the hardest 30 minutes of my life”.
It comes as Spotify acknowledged it was experiencing problems on social media, although did not say what had gone wrong.
“Something’s not quite right, and we’re looking into it,” it wrote. “Thanks for your reports!”
The music streaming giant encouraged its users to check its help pages.
