Sports Ministry approves Mirabai Chanu's training in US for Paris Olympics

NEW DELHI: The Sports Ministry on Thursday gave its approval to the training proposals of Asian Games silver medallist javelin thrower Kishore Kumar Jena and Tokyo Olympic medallist Mirabai Chanu.

Jena is set to undergo training in Gold Coast, Australia, for a period of 78 days. This initiative is aimed at providing him with specialised coaching and facilities to enhance his skills as he prepares for upcoming competitions.
