Sports doctor aims McDonald's jibe at Conor McGregor after UFC star's visit

Conor McGregor has been told he won't fight at lightweight again after he paid a visit to a McDonald's restaurant.

The Irishman last fought at 155lb in July 2021 when he broke his leg in a second consecutive defeat by Dustin Poirier. After beginning his programme to return to fitness, McGregor showed off a huge 190lb frame as he bulked up while unable to participate in full training.

This has seen the former two-weight champion confirm he intends to return at 170lb where his last win came against Donald Cerrone in 2020. And sports surgeon Dr David Abassi has made an observation on social media, tweeting: "He’s never making 155 again. #mcgregor #mcdonalds."
