"Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls" is approaching its August 6 launch, and players may already have an idea of what awaits them on the road to the game's coveted Platinum Trophy.
A complete trophy list for Arc System Works' upcoming 4v4 fighting game has reportedly leaked online, offering an early look at the challenges players could face after release.
'Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls' Trophy List Reportedly Leaks
The reported leak comes during a busy period for the game, just in time for the hype for the Phoenix Cyclops as its first DLC character.
The open beta offered more than traditional online fighting matches. Players could test 15 of the game's 20 launch characters, explore the single-player Episode Mode, interact with other players in the Open Lobby, and sharpen their skills in Training Mode.
With the full release approaching, the reported trophy leak offers another potential glimpse of the content available in the fighting game.
According to a post shared on the Marvel Tōkon Leaks subreddit, the alleged list contains 39 trophies, including the Platinum Trophy.
The person who shared the information reportedly claimed that it came from a source with access to the launch version of the game rather than from someone who personally obtained an early copy.
However, neither Sony nor Arc System Works has officially confirmed the list. As a result, players should consider the information unverified and keep in mind that trophy requirements could change before or after launch.
Platinum and Gold Trophy Requirements
The reported Platinum Trophy is titled "Champion of the Universe" and requires players to unlock every other trophy in the game.
Several of the alleged Gold Trophies appear to focus on completing major portions of the game's content. These reportedly include clearing every Episode, completing the Champion Course in All-Star Arena, finishing 500 battles, and unlocking all of Deadpool's secret commands through his Command List.
If accurate, the requirements suggest that earning the Platinum Trophy will involve a combination of story progression, competitive play, and dedicated exploration of the game's combat systems.
Episode Mode and Character Lessons Add Completion Challenges
The reported trophy list also appears to highlight the game's single-player content. Episode Mode is said to feature five major scenarios, with each reportedly tied to its own Silver Trophy.
Players may also have to invest significant time in Character Lessons. One alleged Silver Trophy, "Weapon X," reportedly requires players to complete 100 combo challenges.
These requirements could give players additional reasons to explore the game's tutorials and training content beyond simply learning the fundamentals of each character.
Fighting Game Trophies Reward Combat Skills
Many of the reported Bronze Trophies appear to encourage players to experiment with Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls' combat mechanics. These reportedly include performing techniques such as Perfect Reflects, Assist actions, Super Skills, Ultimate Skills, Crossover attacks, and Assemble Counters.
These requirements are common in fighting games, where trophy lists can serve as an incentive for players to learn mechanics they might otherwise overlook.
Online and Multiplayer Trophies
According to GameRant, several other reported trophies appear to focus on the game's online and multiplayer features.
Players could reportedly earn trophies for entering the Online Lobby, completing Ranked and Casual Matches, winning matches in Arcadia Rumble, creating a Room Match, participating in an Open Lobby Activity, and watching replays.
If the leaked information is accurate, these trophies could encourage players to experience the game's different multiplayer options rather than concentrating solely on ranked competition.
Deadpool Trophy Could Point to Hidden Mechanics
One of the more intriguing reported trophies involves Deadpool and requires players to unlock all of his secret commands.
The trophy does not confirm ongoing speculation about potential unlockable characters such as Promoter or The Champion. However, it could encourage players to investigate Deadpool's unique moveset and discover hidden mechanics that may not be immediately apparent.
As with the rest of the alleged trophy list, however, this remains speculation until Arc System Works or Sony provides official confirmation.
