Healer admits mushroom trafficking before woman's death

A trauma healer has avoided a criminal conviction for serving a woman magic mushrooms in a tea ceremony before her death at a wellness retreat.

Deanne Mathews, 54, was fined $3000 at Bacchus Marsh Magistrates Court on Wednesday after she pleaded guilty to one charge of drug trafficking.
