Spillane’s Tower The New King George VI Chase Favourite After Being Supplemented
The James Joseph Mangan-trained Spillane’s Tower will join 13 other King George runners at Kempton on Boxing Day as the final supplement stage was the improving chaser entered for £4,600.
Spillane’s Tower will also join another McManus runner Corbett’s Cross to run in the famous green and gold silks – with the pair hoping to give the popular owner his second King George VI Chase and his first since First Gold won in 2000.
The 6 year-old will also head to Kempton as the new favourite with the best horse racing betting sites in the UK and returned this season with a carcking 1/2 a length second to the current Cheltenham Gold Cup favourite Fact To File in the John Durkan Memorial Chase at Punchestown last month (watch below).

Juntos Ganamos and The Real Whacker Also King George Chase Runners After Being Supplemented
In addition to Spillane’s Tower being a new King George Chase runner, the race also saw two other fresh names supplemented for the Kempton race. The Real Whacker and another French raider Juntos Ganamos.
The Real Whacker was last seen beating the 2022 King George winner Bravemansgame in the Charlie Hall Chase in November. Plus was also fourth in this race 12 months ago to Hewick (watch below).
The French-trained Juntos Ganamos has also been added to the King George runners with less than a week to go till the Boxing Day race.
This 5 year-old will be looking to become the youngest winner of the race since Manicou in 1950 – but has impressed many this season.
Including when third at Auteuil in the Prix La Haye Jousselin in France and also when winning the Grade 3 Prix Heros XII Chase (watch below).
Of those that were taken out the big festive horse racing event were Protektorat, Found A Fifty, GA Law and Ginny’s Destiny.
