A man dressed as Spider-Man leapt onto the back of a moving pickup truck outside Minneapolis City Hall on Saturday and began throwing punches at the far-right activist riding inside it. Within minutes, the masked figure had been pulled off, thrown to the pavement and detained by officers, while online he was already being crowned a folk hero.
The clash was the flashpoint of a rally-turned-riot involving Jake Lang, a pardoned January 6 defendant, that ended with eleven arrests and three injured police officers.
