Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 could come out this fall – at least, that’s what actor Tony Todd says.
To recap: Insomniac Games announced that Todd would play Venom during the reveal of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 in 2021. There’s been very little information on the game since, aside from endless speculation as to when it might launch.
On Tuesday, Todd might’ve let the release window slip while responding to a fan asking about when Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 might come out.
“Looks like September! Massive publicity [is] coming in august,” Todd said on Twitter. “Commercials start dropping in august, so I’m told. Hold on to your … and hold [your] breath! Gonna be necessary.”

Remember that neither Insomniac Games nor PlayStation has given us any launch date yet, so Todd might’ve spilled the beans ahead of a big reveal. However, it aligns with what actor Yuri Lowenthal, who plays Peter Parker in these games, hinted at several weeks ago – along with the release date tease from Insomniac last December.
We still don’t know too much about Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 other than it’ll allegedly be much darker than the original game. It’s also a PS5 exclusive (for now) and will probably remain that way for some time.
